Defqon.1 fans in the spotlight
The spotlight is new on Defqon.1 this year. Two artists (BLUE and BLACK) are highlighted in a special way by Q-dance during The Gathering on Friday with a spot in the spotlight and get their own Friday end show. This year they are Phuture Noize and Dr. Peacock. But the Weekend Warriors also deserve a moment in the spotlight. We interviewed Defqon.1 fans from all over the world and they told us about their love for this fantastic festival.
“I can waste a lot of words on it, but Defqon.1 is just my life. Point-blank. Immediately after The Closing Ceremony I start counting down the days again until next edition.”
““My friend has been going to Defqon.1 for years with one of my best friends. I was actually a bit curious and when they showed me videos of The Closing Ceremony of previous years I was immediately sold. The music, the lights, the fireworks. I was in love. And so I went, and believe me, it is even a thousand times better in real life. Since then, the Defqon.1 weekend has been marked in red in my agenda.”
“Defqon.1 is in one word: AWESOME. This is the place where I enjoy to the fullest, dance my feet off, make friends for life and meet new people every year.”
“I started an argument for Defqon.1, oops. I canceled my grandmother's birthday and even sacrificed my last day off. I do everything for this festival.”
“The thing I like it so much about Defqon.1 is that all harder styles come together and we enjoy as one big family. Whether you like terror or euphoric hardstyle, we are all one tribe.”
