The first hints of Qlimax 2019
With the announcement of the date of Qlimax 2019 the conspiracy (or: qonspiracy) has started again. The announcement of the lineup and anthem maker of Qlimax is accompanied by a lot of speculations and theories every year. Now, that the first fans already have their cards in the pocket, the riddles about the upcoming edition are sent out into the world one by one. These are the first hints of Qlimax 2019. By gazing deeper into the darkness, we become one with the rhythm of the machineWe don't know what this year's theme is yet, but we definitely expect something with a dark edge. Because that's what Qlimax is all about. Around the Qlimax logo it says in Latin: "Introscpicere altius connectens a tenebris ad modulis machina." If you translate this into English it says: "By gazing deeper into the darkness, we become one with the rhythm of the machine." Would this relate to the theme? At least it sounds very cool.The evolution of QlimaxIn the artwork of Qlimax 2019 you can find the Roman numerals I to X. According to a Reddit theory, the digits I and II are supported by a sound wave and III and IV by DNA, and this might indicate 'evolution'. In other words: the evolution of Qlimax. Would this mean that we are stepping into a musical time machine through the years of Qlimax and that both the old hardstyle sound and the new one will be well represented on November 23? We hope so!Roman numerals = number of artists in the lineup?To the left of the Qlimax logo there is a pattern with the Roman numerals 1 to 10 (I - X). There is speculation that this is about the number of artists in the lineup.Qlimax card in the mailOf course the real die-hard Qlimax fans were already 'loose' after seeing the artwork, but the first tangible hints fell into the mailboxes of a select group of fans. Completely in the style of Qlimax 2019 we found a card with the text: "You are the first to know, glance into the future, tune into the frequency". B-Front is the anthem maker?The number VI is on the left in the middle of the pattern and on the right next to the Qlimax logo. This shows that VI is an important number in these hints. Possibly, this refers to this year's anthem maker. The number VI is also above the body, which you can see on the card. We don't know what that might mean, maybe it refers to the number of times that the artist has been on Qlimax? In the case of B-Front this is true.But there is also another theory. We talked earlier about the connection between the DJ who closes the RED on Saturday and the Qlimax anthem. This would mean that B-Front would be this year's anthem maker. |
