He is one of the most remarkable artists within the hardstyle scene. Not only because of the music he makes, but also because of the way he does it. His vision is clear, his creativity extraordinary. And with such an extensive repertoire, it’s not surprising that Q-dance trusts this refined storyteller with his own X-Qlusive. Legendary artists such as Frequencerz, Dana, B-Front, Noisecontrollers, Headhunterz and The Prophet preceded him, but on May 20th it will be his turn: X-Qlusive Phuture Noize. An event completely dedicated to his creative musicality, then and now.

A collab with B-Front in 2016 made his big breakthrough. In 2017, it's almost impossible to imagine a line-up of which he’s not part of: QAPITAL, REBiRTH, Defqon.1, Tomorrowland and Q-BASE are just a few on the long list of highly respected parties where he performed at.

In the same year the release of his first solo album and his career take a huge sprint. The hardstyle scene seems to be all ears now. Phuture Noize is truly blowing away the entire hardstyle scene with his fresh, nearly emotional sound. His creative approach to music in an almost singer-songwriter-like fashion is something we’ve never seen before in our scene. By doing so he’s not only unique as an artist but also a source of inspiration for many people. The recognition is clearly there and the major organisations such as Q-dance are showing their appreciation towards him. What follows is a series of highlights such as a surprise act at Qlimax, an edition of XXlerator Spotlight, being part of one of the Defqon.1 spotlights and even his contribution to the creation of last year’s Defqon.1 anthem is something he can cross away of his bucket list.

Yet Marco Spronk has already been busy creating music for several years. In 2009 he started the adventure of Phuture Noize together with Antoine Kraaij, aiming to exceed the boundaries of hardstyle and convey his vision with his music. In 2012 their first tracks are being released and two full-fledged albums follow in the years after: Music Rules The Noize in 2013 and Phuture Propaganda in 2015.

Marco and Antoine are focussed at creating a unique sound design. That works out well. This innovative sound which we haven’t heard before in the hardstyle scene applies to a small target audience of connoisseurs. The powerful productions of Phuture Noize guarantee the guys spots on the line-up of large events such as Hard Bass, The Qontinent and Loudness. Yet shortly after the release of their second album the two announce they won’t be continuing as a duo anymore. Their performance at Q-BASE 2015 was their last performance together.

Marco continues his journey as a solo-artist with Phuture Noize and does this with a new kind of focus. He completes his education and works hard at new music: tracks of high quality that are nice to listen to yet also perfect to show your best moves at. Once in 2016 his collab with his main idol B-Front called ‘The Paradox’ is played at the largest events his break-through is set in stone. An important aspect of his new focus is telling stories by means of his music. His first solo-album ‘Pursuit Of Thunder’ is a translation of these stories, focussed at topical subjects such as media and religion. The combination of these aspects and the ‘listenability’,as Marco himself calls it, results in a unique connection with his fans.

Phuture Noize is at the right tracks and a second album is released fairly soon (Black | Mirror Society), for which Q-dance organises a special release party together with Marco. At this party it becomes evident how passionate the fans are about his music, the atmosphere is simply unprecedented. He manages to stir a certain feeling in the crowd. After this event various BMS showcases follow. He manages to fill up entire areas at the largest events with this showcase and keeps surprising us with his musical genius every time he enters the stage.

It becomes clear that Marco’s creative mind extends much further than just his music. He designs his own merchandise which reminds us of a fashion line. The same vibe and recognisable look can also be seen on his social media, communicated in his wayward way. With his creative and enterprising vision he manages to lay the foundation of a very strong brand. This visionair is representing a new generation of hardstyle: His own edition X-Qlusive is therefore well-deserved.

With X-Qlusive, Q-dance gives artists the platform to exclusively show what they stand for and what they have accomplished in their careers. For the fans, this is the perfect opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the musicality of their hardstyle hero. A series of classics and absolute bangers are often combined with new music. In addition to performances by the X-Qlusive artist, the star of the night is supported by colleague artists who are in some way connected to the highlight of the evening. This way you’re not just partying to the music of your hero but you’re also getting to know him better with regard to his musical journey.

After a long period of many gigs, Phuture Noize has let us know that he’s taking a tour break to focus on his music. Last week he announced that he is working hard on his new album "Silver Bullet" and he promises a lot of crazy shit for 2020. X-Qlusive Phuture Noize is therefore a comeback to remember. In addition to new album material, we definitely hope to hear that old Phuture Noize sound again. The collaboration between Q-dance and Phuture Noize has already proved itself to be a genius, so we can't wait to see what they have in store for us in May.

X-Qlusive Phuture Noize will take place on Wednesday 20th of May, 2020 (the day before Ascension Day) in the AFAS LIVE in Amsterdam. The ticket sale will start on Saturday 1st of February at Q-dance.com
