Q-dance presents 5 years of Rebelion: “This party is really about the dedicated core of Rebels”

Over the past five years, Rebelion has worked their way up from the underground to true raw stars. This Saturday they will celebrate their fifth anniversary in collaboration with Q-dance in the Warehouse Elementenstraat. Five years of Rebelion means time for a night full of deafening kicks and Rebels. Gary and Raymond have always had the idea of throwing a party to celebrate this anniversary. “When we heard that Q-dance still had an option at their new location, we knew it would fit perfectly. The underground and old school feeling of the Q-dance Studios is perfect, especially with that banging sound system!” The collaboration between Rebelion and Q-dance has become close in a short period of time. The guys got a top position on the Defqon.1 timetable, made the QAPITAL anthem and together with Devin Wild they are responsible for the EPIQ anthem. And now they also organize an event together. “Q-dance is very important to us. They are the backbone of the scene, so it's really cool that they have so much faith in us.” For this night of RAW Rampage, we follow the journey of 5 years Rebelion. “We showcase the Rebelion sound from day one until now. We want to show everything so that people can feel the progress. Our ‘Rise Again’ set is the perfect way to do that.” In their normal Rebelion set they will play recent and new tracks (Overdose edits!), including a very special ‘1-time deal’.

 

 

 

Gary and Raymond knew almost immediately who they wanted to put on the line-up. Delete and Warface are very important to their career. “Of course we couldn't include everyone in the line-up because of logistics and other things. Big shout out to Remco & Youri who were also a big part of our trip, but unfortunately can't be there.” Every artist on the line-up has been a big part of their career. “They are all important for our journey. Most of all they have meant a lot to us musically, but most importantly we see them as friends that we can destroy the stage with.” Rebelion has become one of the most successful duos in the hardstyle scene, but that’s not the way they see it. “We're never satisfied so I don't think there will ever be a time when we feel like we can sit back or stop evolving. When we ask the guys what's next, they have a clear answer: “WORLD DOMINATION AND BEER!” This Saturday will be all about the journey they’ve made so far. “Maybe in the future we'll do a more conceptual evening, but this weekend is really about the dedicated core of Rebels who have been there for us so far.” And to add to that, we're also getting a sneak-peek in Rebelion's future!
