Our 'fairly young' hardstyle scene already has a lot of legends. Noisecontrollers is definitely one of them. He is the man of monster hits like 'CTRL.ALT.DELETE', 'Crump', We Are The Noisecontrollers', 'Gaia', 'Scantraxx Rootz', 'Down Down', 'Solar' and 'Samara'. And we can go on like this for a while. He is now counting down to his 200th production, since the start of Noisecontrollers in 2005.
Under the heading #NC200, Noisecontrollers counts down to his 200th production. Step by step he's getting closer, and that's what he does with his long awaited release of 'Headlights' (Track #196), among other things. With this euphoric masterpiece he kicks off the summer of 2019.
For his latest track, Noisecontrollers have a totally different approach than we are used to in the hardstyle scene. The lyrics are written by The Companions and sung by singer/songwriter Babette van Vught, known for her participation in The Voice of Holland 2017.
'Headlights' tells the musical story of a love affair, but is applicable to so many other things in life. It's about everything that you know isn't good for you, but that still attracts you. The track starts quite heavy, with stringed instruments that come back in the breaks. Thanks to Babet's dark, powerful voice, the song has a very different vibe than a typical, summery hardstyle track. The melody says the opposite and gives you that wonderful summery, euphoric feeling, where Noisecontrollers is so good at.
Headlights will be released on 31 May 2019. With this, Noisecontrollers also kicks off his #NC200 and presents his new corporate identity and website. A lot of new things for this legend!
